James Thompson, known professionally as THMPSN, is an internationally acclaimed, award-winning violinist, music producer, and creative director. Classically trained at the prestigious WAAPA (Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts), he has carved out a unique niche by fusing traditional violin with hip-hop and EDM. His genre-defying sound has led to collaborations with major artists including Cardi B, Tyga, Yung Gravy, and Sean Kingston, amassing millions of streams across digital platforms.
As CEO of Kaotic Media and founder of the THMPSN Foundation, James is not only a visionary artist but also a dedicated mentor and innovator, committed to empowering the next generation of musicians. He has performed globally for audiences including President Donald Trump, and has made appearances on platforms like TMZ and Misfits Boxing, bridging the gap between high art and pop culture.
